Boston Sober Homes: hopeful remedy for Massachusetts opioid epidemic

Recently, members of the Roxbury and Dorchester communities have gathered to petition against Boston Sober Homes--a non-profit that provides affordable housing and treatment for recovering addicts in their neighborhoods. But, with a heroin epidemic claiming nearly 100 lives every month in Massachusetts, Boston Sober Homes’ around-the-clock recovery programs and access to resources like mental health experts and stable housing could be the most realistic remedy to the epidemic.
